About us...

Our team of four experienced Veterinary Surgeons has a range of individual and varying interests which combine to produce a comprehensive service.  Most pets can be treated quickly and effectively “in house”, and we offer all of the facilities expected of a small animal practice.  We do, on occasion, refer patients to other specialist practices for more sophisticated treatments eg orthopaedics, ophthalmology.

Emergency?

We are part of the Furness Emergency Veterinary Service.  Details of this service will be given over an answering machine message.  You will always be able to get help, 24 hours a day, but you may need to visit a different surgery for emergency treatment.  This could be in Barrow, or Ulverston, but you will be handed back to our practice for ongoing treatment as soon as practicable.
